Keren created Awakening Education Consultancy in 2013. With over 26 years’ experience in the education and care sector, both here in Australia and in the UK, Keren provides mentoring support for educators and families as well as professional learning opportunities and teachings.

Passionate, joyful, knowledgeable and a transformational leader, Keren is dedicated to children, their families and educators alike.

Keren knows the importance of the early years and the life long impacts these informing years have on individuals and their self perception. Skills and attitudes like resilience, emotional intelligence, negotiation, connection and more are all learnt in the early years

Keren understands the holistic nature of early childhood education; she is committed to the sector and hopes to inspire reflective practice, shifts in sector culture and facilitate positive changes for quality education care and for all children and their families. Keren currently works part time as a lead wellbeing educator with children

Keren provides mentoring and coaching programs to meet individual educator’s needs. Working across sector in long day care services, family day care services, out of school hours education and preschools. Keren also supports families with parenting mentoring and support

Keren is the creator of Bush Play Connections. Keren shares professional learning opportunities to the sector that teach the key principles of  Bush Play Connections. This PD guides well-being practices for children and adults, attachment and relating as well as cultural connection to country and supporting grounding and presence in play
